Dr. Laura Fish
Emergency Medicine Physician
Laura is an emergency medicine physician at Duke Hospitals. After growing up in Wake County, Laura attended NC State University where she graduated as valedictorian with a BS in Biology. She then graduated from medical school at The Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. Her specialty training in emergency medicine allowed her to stay in Greenville, NC after medical school. Laura and her husband, Rob, moved to Gainesville, Florida while Rob completed his radiology residency. Upon returning to the Raleigh area, Laura continued to work as an emergency physician in addition to serving as the Medical Director of Gateway Women’s Care for ten years.
Laura and Rob have one daughter, Anna (Trinity ż Class of 2030).
They are members of Providence Baptist Church and enjoy serving on short term medical mission trips. Laura is also often found volunteering as a coach for Trinity Athletics.
Laura’s Heart for Trinity
Rob and I had high standards when searching for a school for our daughter. We were looking for academic rigor, reinforcement of a Christian worldview, and faculty who care about the character development of each student. At Trinity, we found that and much more. Trinity provides a learning environment that teaches students how to ask questions, analyze, dialogue with respect, and accept constructive feedback. It is a school where students and parents are known, and the use of their God-given abilities is encouraged and fostered. A welcome surprise was the community of parents we now call friends and share the responsibility of discipling our children together. It is refreshing to know that my child loves school, loves the Lord, and is building character that will impact her community in all phases of her life. The tapestry that Trinity is weaving matters for this generation and future generations.
